1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or using the MSAS FarmAI platform (website at msasagro.com and mobile application), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MSAS Livestock & Agro Services, a company registered in Nigeria.
2. Services
MSAS FarmAI provides:
- AI Smart Scan — AI-powered crop disease, livestock, soil, and pest diagnosis via image upload
- Expert Consultations — On-demand consultations with registered veterinarians and agronomists
- Agro-Dealer Marketplace — A platform for buying and selling agricultural inputs and produce
- Logistics — Rider-delivered marketplace orders
- Farm Management — Tools for recording livestock, poultry, and farm data
- Knowledge Base — Agricultural guides and best practices
- Subscription Plans — Free trial and paid plans (Basic, Basic Pro, Premium)
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age
- You must provide accurate and truthful registration information
- Veterinarians and agronomists must hold valid professional credentials; these will be verified before approval
- Agro-dealers must provide valid business information
- One account per person; creating multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits is prohibited
4. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You must notify us immediately at support@msasagro.com if you suspect unauthorised access
- You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must not share your account with others
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Plans
Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually in Nigerian Naira (NGN). A 14-day free trial is available once per plan per user. After the trial period, continued access requires payment.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Paystack. By making a payment you also agree to Paystack's terms of service. MSAS does not store your card or bank details.
Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by Nigerian consumer protection law. If you believe you were incorrectly charged, contact us within 7 days at support@msasagro.com.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
6. AI Diagnosis Disclaimer
Important: AI Smart Scan results are provided for informational and decision-support purposes only. They do not constitute a professional veterinary or agronomic diagnosis and must not replace the judgment of a qualified expert.
- Diagnosis accuracy depends on image quality, lighting, and the condition photographed
- For serious livestock illness or significant crop loss, consult a registered veterinarian or agronomist in person
- MSAS is not liable for losses arising from reliance on AI diagnostic results alone
7. Marketplace Rules
- Sellers must list products accurately; misrepresentation is grounds for account suspension
- Buyers must not initiate chargebacks without first contacting the seller and MSAS support
- MSAS is a marketplace facilitator, not a party to the sale; disputes between buyers and sellers must be reported to support for mediation
- Prohibited listings: counterfeit agro-chemicals, unregistered pesticides, illegal substances, stolen goods
- MSAS reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms or applicable Nigerian law
8. Expert Consultations
- Consultation responses are provided within the timeframes indicated on the platform
- Experts are independent professionals; MSAS does not warrant the accuracy of individual consultation responses
- Video consultations via the platform must not be recorded without consent from all parties
- Consultation fees are paid directly through the platform and released to the expert after completion
9. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the platform
- Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise platform security
- Impersonate another user, expert, or MSAS staff member
- Use the platform to distribute spam, malware, or illegal content
- Abuse the AI scan service (excessive automated requests, uploading non-agricultural images)
- Circumvent subscription limits through technical means
Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund and may be reported to relevant authorities.
10. Intellectual Property
All platform software, AI models, branding, and content are the intellectual property of MSAS Livestock & Agro Services. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the platform for its intended purpose.
You retain ownership of the farm data, images, and records you upload. By uploading content you grant MSAS a licence to process it for service delivery and, in anonymised form, for AI model improvement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, MSAS's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
MSAS is not liable for: indirect or consequential losses, crop or livestock losses based on AI recommendations, marketplace disputes between buyers and sellers, or service interruptions caused by force majeure, third-party outages, or telecommunications failures.
12. Termination
- You may close your account at any time from Account → Privacy Settings
- MSAS may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity
- Upon termination, your access to subscription features ceases immediately; your data is retained per our Privacy Policy retention schedule
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute shall first be submitted to mediation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email and in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
